PURPOSE OF PROJECT:  To learn about an Asian tradition and to practice art skills by making a paper penny bank

TARGET AGE GROUP:  8 and up

MATERIALS NEEDED:  copies on card stock paper, scissors, X-Acto knife, glue, tape, colored pencils or crayons or watercolor paints, fabric scrap, small jingle bell, piece of fancy ribbon, piece of thin dowel or a shish-kabob skewer, pennies
