Chicken Egg Development Wheel
Purpose of activity: To learn about how a chicken egg develops and what happens on each of the 21 days
Target age group: ages 5-9
Description of activity: As shown in the picture above, it’s an information page with a wheel behind it so that the day numbers and the associated picture show up inside the red “windows” as the wheel is turned.
Time needed: At least 30 minutes if students color the pictures; less if they don’t color.
Materials you will need: Copies of the pattern pages printed onto card stock, scissors, paper fasteners, colored pencils or crayons, and an X-Acto knife (for adult use)
