Cut-and-assemble brain hat

Purpose of activity: To learn about the major lobes of the brain

Description:  Cut and assemble a paper brain hat

Target age group: ages 8-12, but can be used with younger if they have help

Time allowance:  This depends on how much coloring they want to do.  Just the assembly takes about 20 minutes.  Plus add your coloring time.  If you are using it in a classroom, allow a full 40 minute period.

Materials needed:  Copies of the pattern pages printed onto card stock, scissors, glue, tape, crayons or colored pencils
