Purpose of activity:
To reinforce basic internal anatomy concepts in a way that is both fun and practical (you get a shirt to wear!)
Description of
activity: Use iron-on transfers and fabric markers to make and color a T-shirt showing internal anatomy.
(Or, for a large group, have the black and white design professionally printed onto shirts, then have the students color them
with fabric markers.)
NOTE:
This activity requires adult help and supervision.
Materials you will need: White T-shirts, fabric markers, iron, iron-on transfer paper for ink jet printers (if you will be using an
ink jet), (possibly can substitute with fabric crayons)
