Chicken Egg Development Wheel

Target age group:  ages 5-9

Description of activity:  Students color, cut and assemble a craft that include a wheel (mostly hidden except for a portion that peeks through a window) that shows the day by day development inside a chicken egg.

Time allowance:   At least 30 minutes if students color the pictures, less if there is no coloring involved.

Materials needed:  photocopies of the pattern pages on white card stock, scissors, paper fasteners, colored pencils or crayons, and X-acto knife (for adult use)
